Tasty Thanksgiving Side Dish Ideas

It's getting close to Turkey Day! Can you believe it is only two weeks away?

I don't know about you, but I think the best part of Thanksgiving dinner (besides pie) is piling my plate high with tasty side dishes.

Here are a few Gourmess favorites:

Brussels Sprouts, Beets and Feta
Sweet and savory and earthy and bright. What else could you want?

Lemon-Roasted Potato Salad
This warm salad with fruity olives and zesty lemon adds some gorgeous color to your table. And it tastes great, too.

Forget stuffing--this bread pudding with sausage, squash and kale is the perfect alternative!

Tofu, Red Cabbage and Butternut Squash
A favorite New York Times recipe. With or without tofu, it's a beauty of a dish!

Orzo Mac 'N' Cheese
Because who doesn't love macaroni and cheese? Especially this creamy dreamy version with smoked cheddar, acorn squash, bacon and a hint of nutmeg.

Yep, I know. Yum! And there's goat cheese in it, too. Double yum!

Roasted Fennel with Sherry and Cream
